Live stream your DJI Osmo camera to Instagram, TikTok and more

DJI Live Bridge is not only for drones. DJI's action and gimbal cameras stream over RTMP from the DJI Mimo app — exactly the kind of stream the app receives. Point an Osmo Action, Osmo Pocket or Osmo 360 at DJI Live Bridge and it goes to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitch or Kick, several at once, in vertical or horizontal format — or into Zoom and OBS as a wireless webcam.

Which DJI cameras can stream

According to DJI, these cameras support livestreaming in DJI Mimo, with RTMP as one of the platforms:

Not supported for livestreaming in DJI Mimo: the Osmo Mobile and DJI OM phone gimbals, the original Osmo Pocket and the Osmo Nano. With a phone gimbal, the phone itself is the camera.

Stream an Osmo camera through DJI Live Bridge

1. Open DJI Live BridgeInstall DJI Live Bridge on a Mac or Windows PC. The Connect your drone step works for any RTMP camera and shows an address like rtmp://192.168.1.20:1935/drone.
2. Connect the camera in DJI MimoUpdate DJI Mimo to 1.2.20 or later, connect the camera and open its livestream option.
3. Choose RTMP and the networkSelect RTMP as the platform and pick the Wi-Fi network the camera should use — the same one the computer is on, or a phone hotspot both have joined.
4. Enter the address and qualityType the address from DJI Live Bridge, choose 1080p and the highest bitrate your Wi-Fi handles, and start. The preview appears in the app within seconds.
5. Add platforms and go liveAdd Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or any RTMP server, choose vertical or horizontal, and press START LIVE.

What it adds to an Osmo camera

• Instagram and TikTok. DJI Mimo streams to Facebook, YouTube or an RTMP address; DJI Live Bridge reaches Instagram over RTMPS and TikTok with a stream key or through TikTok LIVE Studio.
• Several platforms at once. One camera, the same broadcast on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
• Vertical for phones. A landscape picture becomes 1080×1920 with a blurred fill instead of black bars.
• A wireless webcam. The built-in virtual camera shows the Osmo's picture in TikTok LIVE Studio, OBS, Zoom or Meet — no cable to the computer. See the webcam guide.
• Preview and recording. Watch the real input on the computer and record it while you stream.

When it does not work

• The camera cannot connect: it must be on the same network as the computer. Guest networks often isolate devices; use a normal Wi-Fi or a hotspot.
• No livestream option in DJI Mimo: update DJI Mimo and the camera firmware; livestreaming needs DJI Mimo 1.2.20 or later.
• The picture stutters: lower the bitrate in DJI Mimo or move the camera closer to the router.
• Osmo 360 does not stream: switch it to single-lens mode first.
